Not too long ago, we were contacted about a slab issue at a gymnasium in a children’s home in north Georgia. The slab in the center of the gymnasium was unstable and rocking back and forth whenever someone walked on it.
We scanned the soil beneath the slab with the Deep Look Ground Penetrating Radar. The scans revealed large voids underneath the slab. To stabilize and level the slab, we used Alchemy-Spetec's AP Lift 430 polyurethane foam. The whole project only took half a day to complete.
The slab was back in use 30 minutes after the job was done. The administrators at the children's home, needless to say, were very happy.
